David & Martin is a Seattle-based Tenor/Piano duo, performing sophisticated Broadway songs, Jazz standards, and the best of the Great American Songbook.

We are available for concerts and private events on the West Coast.

     
David Skover has appeared on the professional opera and musical theater stage on both the East and West coasts.  Among his favorite roles were Ravenal in Showboat, Tony in West Side Story, and Henry Higgins in My Fair Lady. In Seattle, he played Mr. Lundquist in the Light Opera’s production of Stephen Sondheim’s A Little Night Music, and was the tenor among five talents in the Crepe De Paris’ summer cabaret production of By Sondheim.  
     
Martin Buff is an accomplished pianist, composer, performer and teacher. He trained as a concert pianist with world class teachers Madeline Forte and Bela Siki, and pursued graduate work at the presitgious Manhattan School of Music (NYC). After a brief but successful career in law and as a senior manager at Dell Computer Corporation, Martin returned to music, studying jazz at the Berklee College of Music (Boston), finally returning home to Seattle to perform and teach. He also owns a teaching and professional recording studio, The Piano Studio, located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood of Seattle.
